Experience the heart of northern Portugal, where history, culture, and natural beauty blend harmoniously. Our carefully curated 7-day tour takes you through Porto, Braga, the stunning Douro Valley, and a romantic boat trip to Love Island. You’ll enjoy the perfect balance of vibrant cities, tranquil landscapes, and luxurious accommodations.

Begin your journey in Porto. Our accommodations in the stunning Duoro Valley are just a 55-minute/$40 Uber ride from the airport there.

Our day trips will include full days in Porto and Braga, Portugal's 2nd and 3rd largest cities (after Lisbon). 

Spend the day immersing yourself in Porto’s rich history. Our guided tour will take you through some of the key sights of this UNESCO world heritage city.  Then enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring the cobblestone streets of the Ribeira district along the Douro River. Art lovers should consider visiting the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, set within beautiful gardens. Oenophiles should check out the Taylor's port wine cellar. Or just stroll along the Avenida dos Aliados and explore the vibrant Bolhão Market. The evening is yours to relax and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Later in the week, we'll embark on a day trip to Guimarães, the fairytale-like city whose historic centre is so beautiful and well-preserved that it has been listed as a Unesco world heritage site. Then we'll continue on to Braga, one of Portugal’s oldest cities. Known as the “Portuguese Rome,” Braga is famous for its baroque architecture and religious sites. Visit the magnificent Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary, a UNESCO site perched atop a hill with stunning views and a famous baroque staircase. 

From our home base in the Duoro, we'll hop on a boat and sail through the valley to Love island, where we'll swim and have lunch. We'll learn about local wines with a tasting, and head into the hills for an afternoon hike, then learn how to make our own wood-fired pizzas under the careful tutelage of our on-site chef. We'll also dance the night away with a themed party and DJ.

Our home for the week is a 10-bedroom resort with indoor and outdoor heated pools, sauna and turkish bath, pickleball courts, ping pong, pool, foosball, a restaurant, wine store, and a rooftop bar.  With meals prepared on-site and endless fun to be had, you'll never want to leave!
